Carol Service and Christmas Tree Lights Switch-on
At 7pm on Friday 2 December in Knaresborough Market Place, there will be a carol service when the Mayor will switch on the lights of the town Christmas Tree. Music from Knaresborough Silver Band, and a visit from Father Christmas. Refreshments will be available.

Christmas Fair at The Methodist Church Centre On Gracious Street
Saturday 3 December from 10.00am-4.00pm and Sunday 4 December from 12.00noon-4.00pm.
All the delights of a traditional Christmas Fair with Gifts, Books, Crafts, Cards & Gift Tags, Preserves, Cakes, plus a Children's Present Room where youngsters can choose a present and have it gift wrapped ready for Christmas Day. Cafe open all day serving hot drinks, mince pies, cakes, "soup and sweet" lunches.
The Centre is situated behind the bus station, at the junction of Gracious Street, Fisher St and Chapel Street.
